AIR TRAVEL:
You can fly into any of these area airports: Jacksonville (JAX), Tallahassee (TLH), Gainesville (GNV), and Valdosta, GA (VLD). Live Oak has a small airport for private aircraft (24J). Once landed, you will have to get your own transportation to / from the airport and festival campgrounds. There are plenty of rental car services at each airport, but please make your car reservations in advance to ensure you are covered.

CAMPING / TENTS / RV’s / HOTELS:
This event will bring the 311 community together like never before! We hope that most of you will take advantage of the beautiful campgrounds – and stay in tents & RV’s on-site. Set up your zone however you’d like – bring coolers of drinks and have access to food & drink vendors on site plus bath houses with showers & bathrooms, etc. Everything is there for you.

Either bring your tent & sleeping bag with you – or purchase one from a nearby store (see Equipment Store section below, there is a varied price range – tents start at $30, $50 and so on…and sleeping bags range from $10, $15 up to $40. So it does not have to be expensive. See info below on Walmart and Target stores nearby campsite with camping gear).

A primitive camping spot is included in your ticket price (3 nights of primitive camping: August 4 – August 7). Or you have the option (for an additional fee) to upgrade to an upgraded camping spot (w/ water & electric power outlets…to plug in fans, charge computers, cameras, ipods, etc. – additional fee applies). After you get your show ticket, then you can make arrangements directly with Spirit of the Suwannee Park reps for any upgrades. See CAMPING UPGRADE section below.

Or another great option is renting a RV. It may just be less expensive than you think.  Afterall, you are not really putting miles on it, you are just living in it for short term.  The park has an additional charge for RV parking – but, you will have a prime location (close to the stages) with water and electric hookups. An upgrade package for RV/Motorhome must be purchased additionally by calling the campground directly (See CAMPING UPGRADE section below).

You can drive in or pick up a RV in Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Live Oak or Atlanta, etc.
For instance, here are a few of many RV rental companies in the area:
1-800 RV Rental: 1-800-rv-rental.com
Cruise America: 800-671-8042, www.cruiseamerica.com
Jacksonville RV outlets: www.superpages.com
Live Oak RV: www.rvrentalsofamerica.com
El Monte RV: 888-337-2145, www.elmonterv.com
Sunshine RV: 904-781-0161, www.sunshinervrentals.com
Florida RV: 904-777-0037, www.floridarvrentals.com
SunCoast RV: 888-995-6442, www.suncoastrv.com

Or if you prefer to get a hotel room – since primitive camping is included in your ticket price already – you might still want to set up a tent to have the best of both worlds. We have a feeling you won’t want to leave the campgrounds. This is where it will be at! (hotel list is noted below)

Check out the campground photos to get a better idea of the site. The choice is yours, but whatever you do, tent or RV or hotel, just make sure you’re at POW WOW – as it’s going to be an amazing experience for all!

CAMPING UPGRADE FEE:
There is a $50 per person fee (minimum of 4 persons) to Upgrade your camp lot to a lot with water & electric power outlets.  This fee applies whether you are in a RV or Tents. The Upgraded camping lots are in prime areas a bit closer to the stage areas. The Upgraded camping lots are large so they can fit more than one Tent.  Therefore you can put more than one tent on an Upgraded camping lot if you want (in order to meet the 4 person minimum). So if you have 4 people (either 4 in one tent or 2 people in 2 tents)…it’s $50 per person ($16.67 per person per day) to have an Upgraded camping lot with water & electric power outlets.  Again, Upgraded camping gets you water and electric right on your camp lot (so you can  plug in fans, charge computers, cameras, ipods, etc).

To Upgrade your camp lot for RV or Tent Camping (after you get your show ticket), call the Campgrounds Office at:1-800-224-5656 (or 386-364-1683) Info at: http://www.musicliveshere.com/content/index.php

CHILL ZONES:
We know it gets hot in Florida – but, after visiting the site, we witnessed how much is shaded by the beautiful cypress trees; from the campgrounds to the second stage, to the walking trails.
We’ll also have designated Chill Zones to help you cool down anytime you want to.
Including…
Misting areas with cool water mist
Free tap water stations
Slip & slide (water slide)
Beach / River (scenic white sand beach along stretch of the River)
Indoor air-conditioned venue where we’ll have comedy shows, beers & bingo, etc.
Electrical outlets at RV spots & Upgraded tent spots (where you can plug in fans, etc.)
